Describe your business. Did you find it, or did it find you?

I’m a documentary photographer and mainly photograph families with small children. My job kind of found me, as I developed my business out of a hobby and the love for photography.

How are you involved with both the community and your customer?

I love to volunteer and give back to nonprofits such as Big Brothers Big Sisters, as well as Ag in the Classroom.

Why is your staff the best in the business?

I work by myself; however, I am best at what I do because I’m one of the only documentary photographers in our general area.

What life accomplishments are you most proud of?

I’m most proud of being granted membership into the National Association of Professional Child Photographers and my recognition as a new business, which earned me a scholarship within the local chamber of commerce.

What’s your biggest job perk?

My biggest job perk is that I have the ability to work from home and make my own schedule; I can be with my kids and help my clients all at the same time.

What’s your favorite place to eat out locally?

I love Bricks Eats & Drinks. As a family, we eat there too much!

If you could meet someone living or dead, who would it be and why?

I would love to meet Dr. Seuss—he’s one of my idols and we share a birthday.
