In no particular order...

“The Caramel Apple Cider Milkshake from High Hill Ranch is so heavenly it’s practically sinful. Vanilla ice cream is blended with fresh apple cider before being poured into a caramel-sauce drizzled cup and topped with whipped cream…a perfect fall treat.”

“A piece of the infamous Walkin’ Pie at Kids Inc.—paired with a scoop of vanilla ice cream—is heaven on a plate. I especially love picnicking on their lawn and taking in the views and autumn colors!”

“The friendly folks at Rainbow Orchards make their delectable Apple Cider Donuts fresh—dropping the rings into the fryer right before your eyes. A brief wait (they’re worth it!) and you’re rewarded with a piping hot, cinnamon-sugar dusted donut that manages to be both soft and densely chewy. Go ahead and order a dozen—you’ll regret it if you don’t.”

“I go to Denver Dan’s every year for their delicious desserts and especially love the frozen, unbaked pies; they even add sour cream to some of them (Apple Sour Cream PieBerry Sour Cream Pie and Cranberry Sour Cream Pie). The convenience of taking them out of the freezer when you’re ready to serve can’t be beat.”

“The Apple Sundae from Apple Ridge Farms is a must-eat (and big enough to share with the family) on any Apple Hill outing. I can’t think of a better fall treat than a warm, apple cider donut that’s topped with vanilla ice cream, whipped cream, peanuts and caramel sauce. It’s a sweet success, indeed!”
