Come to a fun and meaningful event to raise funds for the hungry locally and internationally November 14 from 4-8 p.m.

The Empty Bowls Supper includes a home cooked meal of soup, bread and a beverage. Guests choose a hand-made soup bowl that they take home as a remembrance of all of the empty bowls in the world.

There will be live music from Celtic Coloma, a silent auction, bake sale, wine bar and lots of friends and community members to share the evening.  Suggested donation at the door $15 – 50.

Sponsored by the El Dorado Peace and Justice Community.  Location is St Patrick’s Church at Sacramento and Fiske Streets in Placerville.  Note the earlier start at 4 p.m.  Early arrivals, please park in the lower parking lot to accommodate those attending Mass and people with limited mobility.

Check them out on Facebook at here.  Donations of soup, bread, soup bowls and silent auction items needed; contact Maureen Dion-Perry at [email protected] or Carla Turoff at [email protected], or call Maureen at 530-647-9546 or Carla at 530-622-9549.
