It’s tough to stand out in a sea of 100-percent Angus beef promises and fancy craft beer battered onion rings. From giant fast food corporations to smaller mom-and-pop diners and hole in the walls, you have to be able to crush the competition. Thankfully, Krush Burger does exactly what its name implies. Offering customers their choice of two “mini” burgers for the price of one, they also sell local wine and beer, for patrons who’d like a little something more than a milkshake. My eyes grew three sizes staring up at their huge menu board, trying to decide which two choices to chow down on. The Original burger and the Cowbell (a Western-style burger with crispy bacon, gouda cheese, barbecue sauce and crispy onion strings) sounded like heaven, so I upped the ante with fries and a Dr. Pepper. The fries were definitely reminiscent of In-N-Out’s—crispy on the outside and house-made—but the burgers were in a league of their own, with juicy and fantastically flavorful patties, fresh toppings, and buttery-soft buns. Next time you’re in the Roseville Galleria neighborhood and are craving a flavor-packed, all-American meal, head to Krush Burger, 1151 Galleria Boulevard, Roseville. 855-578-7403.
