Folsom

A future Harvard graduate, Cole Thompson has much to be proud of. He set the state record for single season touchdown receptions (34), and helped his team, the Folsom Bulldogs, win the Division 1 state championship.

“Winning a state championship with guys I’ve been playing with for 10 years” was a memorable moment for Thompson. That’s not all—he works equally hard off the field as he does on it, earning himself a GPA of 4.27 at Folsom High School, being part of the student government, and becoming a National Football Foundation Scholar Athlete.

Throw in his hobbies of playing the piano and drums and his involvement with Bayside Church of Folsom and you’ve got an all-rounder. But Thompson thinks otherwise. “I’m a jack of all trades and master of none,” he claims. Having played football since elementary school, he’s experienced when it comes to hard work and determination, and has this advice to offer. “Treat your future self as someone you want to please. Put in the hard work now to make it easier on them.”
