Volunteer Drivers Needed in Cameron Park to Deliver Meals to Seniors

Jan 30, 2015 04:23PM ● By Brenna McGowan
The El Dorado County Senior Nutrition Program Home-Delivered Meal Service is looking for dedicated, caring volunteers to help deliver meals on Mondays in Cameron Park from 10:30 a.m. to noon to homebound seniors.

For many home-bound seniors, the daily personal contact is as vital as the meal.  The program brings peace of mind to clients and their families.

Volunteer back up drivers are needed to deliver meals in the Placerville, Camino and Pollock Pines area

Volunteers who are not available for a weekly commitment can serve as back-up drivers who fill in as needed.  The Senior Nutrition Program is a service of the El Dorado County Health and Human Services Agency.

For more information, please call Senior Nutrition at (530) 621-6160.
