Run For Courage will host the 5th annual Race to End Human Trafficking on Saturday,
September 27 in Folsom. The purpose of this race is to
raise awareness and funds to combat human trafficking.
Registrants can participate in a 5K or 10K race in addition to a 9.8-mile race and kids’ fun run. Run For Courage anticipates more than 3,000 runners to take the field to raise awareness and funds to combat human trafficking.

than 3,000 runners/walkers take the field and show support in the fight
against human trafficking by participating in the 5K, 10K, 9.8-mile or

7:15 a.m. Opening Ceremonies
· Maggy Krell, Deputy Attorney General and the actors of the play “She Has A Name” honored
· An amazing survivor of trafficking honored
· 2014 announcement of beneficiaries
· Wells Fargo education grant presented to Run For Courage
· Special announcement from Run For Courage founders regarding the future of the organization
7:45 a.m. Kids’ Fun Run
8:00 a.m. 10K and 9.8-mile Race
8:10 a.m. 5K Race
9:15 a.m. Awards Ceremony
Why: Funds
generated from this event will continue to support programs involved in
the fight against human trafficking. To date, Run For Courage, Inc. has
raised more than $700,000 to fund education, prevention and restoration
programs that further the organization’s mission to combat human
trafficking.
