Volunteer Driver Meet and Greet at Placerville Senior Center

Interested in volunteering but not sure how to get started?  You are invited to a Volunteer Drivers “Meet and Greet” to talk about the volunteer driver opportunities for the Senior Nutrition and the Senior Shuttle Programs.

The Senior Nutrition Program volunteer drivers provide home delivered meals to home bound seniors one day a week between 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.

The Senior Shuttle Program volunteers drive one day each week to provide transportation to grocery stores and special events in the greater El Dorado County area.

Please join them for a “Meet and Greet” on Tuesday, September 23rd from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the Dining Room at the Placerville Senior Center, 937 Spring Street, Placerville. Learn more about exciting and rewarding volunteer opportunities that can make a real difference in the life of an El Dorado County Senior.
