Harris Center for the Arts and Style Magazine will be hosting a free screening of 20 Feet from Stardom, the Academy Award-winning documentary that features Darlene Love, who will be performing at the Harris Center on August 9.

Screening is this Sunday, August 3 at 2 p.m.

The movie tells the story of some of the most influential backup singers of the last 50 years, and their experiences in an often unappreciated role just steps from the spotlight.

Darlene Love, Merry Clayton, Judith Hill, Claudia Lennear, Lisa Fischer, and Táta Vega are all featured in the film, along with spotlight interviews with legends such as Mick Jagger, Bruce Springsteen, Sting, Bette Midler and Stevie Wonder.

Admission is FREE (limit four tickets per order), but you must obtain your tickets here before the show. All ticket holders must be seated 10 minutes before screening time or tickets will be released.
