Here is what is happening at Maidu Museum & Historic Site in August!
 
Seventh Annual Heritage Trail Museums Tour
:
August 2-3, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. 20 different Placer County museums from Roseville to Tahoe are opening their doors free of charge. The Maidu Museum & Historic Site will offer free admission, free guided tours and free children’s activities all day. theheritagetrail.blogspot.com

Campfire: Friday, August 15, from 7:30p.m.-8:30p.m. Sit under the stars at our outdoor amphitheater to enjoy native stories around the campfire. They’ll provide roasting sticks and marshmallows for a sweet program’s end. Museum doors open at 7 p.m. $5 per person, $16 family of four, under 2 are FREE.

Night Out at the Museum: Join Maidu Museum Saturday, August 16, from 6:30 p.m.-8:30 p.m. for a FREE Night Out at the Museum, part of the3rd Saturday Art Walk. Museum doors open at 6:30 p.m. Opening art reception starts at 7 p.m. Light refreshments will be available.
