On August 17, Placerville Friends of the Library presents their Ninth Annual Wine for Words event.

This eventful evening will be held at Placerville Main Library, 345 Fair Lane, Placerville from 4 p.m. - 8 p.m.

Enjoy wine tasting, catered dinner, silent auction/raffle, and author presentation by Nancy Herman of All We Left Behind: Virginia Reed and the Donner Party.

Tickets are $50/person. Purchase them at Placerville Main, Cameron Park and El Dorado Hills libraries.
