The Glass Guru of Folsom - Orangevale, CA
Describe your business. Did you find it, or did it find you?
We are a full-service glass company offering windows, doors, showers, tabletops, mirrors and more. Our specialty is an exclusive moisture removal process for failed dual-pane windows. We have been in business for six years and are part of a franchise group with 110 locations.
What was the first job you ever had, and what did you learn from the experience?
I was a busboy at Sizzler in Roseville. I learned the basics of punctuality, diplomacy and congeniality. But mostly I learned that I didn’t care for working in the food industry.
Why is your staff the best in the business?
We offer mobile services and free in-home estimates. We are punctual, professional and sincere. We always place our client’s needs as priority number one and deliver on our commitments.
What life accomplishments are you most proud of?
Having the opportunity to rear our daughter, Leilani, in the same community I grew up in.
Where do you go when the going gets tough?
Fishing. Our family enjoys salmon fishing, crabbing in Bodega Bay and angling striper and sturgeon on the Delta.
What’s your hidden talent?
Cooking—I love preparing meals for my family.
What’s your favorite place to eat out locally?
Pho ABC on East Bidwell Street in Folsom.
Where do you and your family go locally to have fun?
The waterways of northern California for boating and camping.
What’s your favorite local event that you go to?
The Folsom Pro Rodeo.
And finally, customer service is…?
Being on time and keeping your word—no matter what!
