A: Some that I’ve noticed for 2014 include modern takes on classical styles—softer, more natural tones in color, and a more flowing movement with haircuts. According to Elle Magazine, the popular cut for women of all ages right now is called the “midi”—a cut right below the shoulders that has little to no layers through the ends. For special occasions, braiding has been incorporated. Of course, the A–line haircut is popular for all ages, too. Currently trending for men’s haircuts are very short sides and long on top, some with a distinct part. Remember: The right cut involves effortless styling.
