Describe your business.

We are a triathlon/multi-sport retail business specializing in swimming, biking and running. We also have full bike service and bike-fitting departments.

What was the first job you ever had, and what did you learn from the experience?

The first “real” job I had was at a sporting goods store—I learned the importance of customer service.

How are you involved with both the community and your customer?

We help sponsor local events that our customers participate in or have a connection to. I believe it is vitally important to give back and help the local community as much as possible.

Why is your staff the best in the business?

Experience and customer service—the staff has years of both!

What life accomplishments are you most proud of?

Graduating from college, getting married, and completing my first triathlon.

Who is your role model in business or in life, and why?

Cliché as it may sound—it would have to be my dad. He suffered a terrible stroke at a very young age but never gave up. He is still going strong today at 86 years old!

Where do you go when the going gets tough?

The best place to sort things out is during a long run or bike ride.

What’s your biggest job perk?

Meeting great people at the store!

If you could meet someone living or dead, who would it be and why?

Abraham Lincoln. Can you imagine what it was like to be the president during the Civil War? I would love to know!

And finally, customer service is…?

The most important part of any business.
