For years, my mom has been bringing home delicious breakfast pastries from Great Harvest Bread Company:

scones, pineapple muffins, cinnamon bread, and my favorite, fruit bars. Recently I thought, Why not give lunch a try? After perusing the menu I decided on the Turkey and Swiss Sandwich on wheat bread with everything, including lettuce, tomatoes, onion, mayo and mustard. The man behind the counter was very friendly and patient while I considered all my sandwich possibilities. After delivering my sub, I decided to add a Savannah Bar. Even eating in my car couldn’t distract me from the tastiness of the sandwich. The freshly made bread was moist, the veggies fresh, and the Swiss cheese and turkey full of flavor. It was the perfect lunch for a commute, although if I’d had more time I would’ve loved to enjoy it at the eatery. I finished off my meal with the Savannah Bar; sweet and tart pieces of fruit baked into a crumbly, sweet bread made for a perfect dessert. Morning, noon or night, now I know I can depend on Great Harvest being delicious any time of day.
