Describe your business. Did you find it, or did it find you?

We offer medically supervised weight loss, “no pill” cholesterol control, and testosterone replacement therapy (TRT). We found each other. I’ve noticed that opportunities along these lines have only been presented a handful of times in my life, and if I hadn’t been prepared then I wouldn’t have been able to participate, so to speak. In other words, there’s always been some essential element I’ve learned throughout my lifetime that has allowed me to participate in the next opportunity, which has led me to where I am now. It’s like filling in the pieces to a puzzle, gelled into a very clear picture, but there’s always room for another missing piece.

What was the first job you ever had, and what did you learn from the experience?

Gardening—I learned to work before it gets hot!

Why is your staff the best in the business?

They enjoy working and caring for people; they know what needs to be done, and they get it done.

What life accomplishments are you most proud of?

Most recently, the understanding of cholesterol and the “no pill” method to reduce it to normal levels.

Who is your role model in business or in life, and why?

My father—he worked long hours and never complained.

Where do you go when the going gets tough?

I keep going.

What’s your hidden talent?

Piloting an airplane.

What’s your favorite place to eat out locally?

Subway and Sushi Unlimited.
