Describe your business. Did you find it, or did it find you?

Time Out is a destination spa and resort. I created the business in 1994.

What was the first job you ever had, and what did you learn from the experience?

I was a cosmetologist and learned that service comes first.

How are you involved with both the community and your customer?

Through events, donations and marketing.

Why is your staff the best in the business?

They always put their client and his/her needs first.

What life accomplishments are you most proud of?

Family, friends and the spa.

Where do you go when the going gets tough?

To Time Out Spa for total pampering.

What’s your hidden talent?

Watercolor painting.

What’s your biggest job perk?

My staff gets a discount when coming in as a guest.

What’s your favorite place to eat out locally?

Henry’s Steakhouse at Red Hawk Casino.

What’s your favorite childhood memory?

Birthdays with family and friends.

If you could meet someone living or dead, who would it be and why?

My parents – I loved their wisdom.

What’s your favorite local event that you go to?

A Chocolate Affair.

What’s your favorite local business other than your own?

Off Broadway (clothing store) in Placerville.

If you could be any other profession, what would it be?

Nothing else would do because I love this profession.
