Did you find your business, or did it find you?

It found me 25 years ago!

What was the first job you ever had, and what did you learn from the experience?

Working with children who have special needs. It shaped my path, as well as my passion for children, self-reliance and empowering people.

How are you involved with both the community and your customer?

I work with parents and local organizations to unite purposeful work between our students and the community.

Why is your staff the best in the business?

They give 100 percent and commit themselves fully in all they do.

What life accomplishments are you most proud of?

Learning to live, breathe and let go.

Who is your role model in business or in life, and why?

Everyone – for giving and sharing; I am an extension of everyone I meet.

Where do you go when the going gets tough?

Yoga.

What’s your biggest job perk?

New students.

Where do you and your family go locally to have fun?

The mountains.

If you could meet someone living or dead, who would it be and why?

I live in the present and cherish everyone I meet.

What’s your favorite local event that you go to?

Music shows by Island of Black and White.

What’s your favorite local business other than your own?

La Fiesta Taqueria.

A choice.
