Describe your business. Did you find it, or did it find you?

I have been planning parties and decorating for years. After encouragement from many people, starting my own business was the next natural step. I keep up with the current trends and look for new ways to make bouquets unique and beautiful. I operate my business from home, so I have flexibility and can give my clients a lot of personal attention!

How are you involved with both the community and your customer?

Giving back to the community is so important. I have donated arrangements to Heart for the Arts and auction items to Junior League and Women Lawyers of Sacramento. When I’m not working, I love to explore Midtown Sacramento – eat at Magpie, sip on a beer at Bows and Arrows, buy fresh produce at the farmers’ market, and get in the occasional Saturday night dance party with my girlfriends!

Why is your staff the best in the business?

This business has evolved from my hobby and passion. I provide clients with personal attention and get to know their personality, style and vision for the day they say “I Do.”

Who is your role model in business or in life, and why?

My grandmother, Mimi, was one of my greatest role models. She did everything in life with such compassion, poise and grace; she was the calm in the storm and always incredibly classy. Her mother was a florist, and Mimi taught me some of the first things I ever learned about flower arranging! So, in a way this job is in my blood.

What’s your biggest job perk?

I get to create something beautiful and unique for “work.”

If you could be any other profession, what would it be?

I have always had a passion for interior design.

And finally, customer service is…?

When my customers are happy, I’m happy!
