Describe your business. Did you find it, or did it find you?

Our business is a family-owned and fun automotive repair facility. The business found me when my father opened it in 1999; I would always come to work with him in the winter months.

What was the first job you ever had, and what did you learn from the experience?

The very first job I had was growing up on my family’s cattle ranch in southern Oregon. I learned the value of a dollar and that you have to work hard to get ahead in life.

Why is your staff the best in the business?

We always try to keep up with the latest technology and training; in addition, we try and shop for the best quality and lowest-priced parts so we can pass the savings on to our customers.

Who is your role model in business or in life, and why?

My father – he has shown me how to stick with a job, do the best you can, and treat people the way you want to be treated.

What’s your hidden talent?

Being able to fix anything and operate any piece of machinery.

Where do you and your family go locally to have fun?

Apple Hill.

What’s your favorite childhood memory?

Fishing with my grandpa on my family’s ranch.

If you could meet someone living or dead, who would it be and why?

John Wayne – he was tough, honest, and knew how to treat a lady.

And finally, customer service is…?

Fixing the problem correctly the first time, not charging too much for the job, and taking the time to explain what the problem is; also, providing a clean and people-friendly waiting area equipped with water or soda and something to read.
