Yay for May! Downtown Tuesday Nights in Roseville are back and will feature a farmers’ market, arts and crafts vendors, beer/wine, a margarita garden and great food! The Puppet Art Theater returns to Fairytale Town on May 3 for Sacramento’s own “Annual Puppet Festival.” Catch shows throughout the month. Performances include classics like The Three Billy Goats Gruff and Cinderella. For details, visit fairytaletown.org.

Sammy Hagar’s new concept restaurant – serving up pan-Asian inspired cuisine in a family-friendly atmosphere – Sammy’s Rockin’ Island Bar & Grill, will be coming to Roseville in the former JCPenney building; the grand opening is tentatively set for September 15.

The Loomis Thursday Night Familyfest returns May 3 (and every Thursday through August) from 6-9:30 p.m. at the Historic Loomis Train Depot Plaza. The weekly family market includes over 75 business and craft vendors, a classic car show and entertainment.
