Describe your business. Did you find it, or did it find you?

I’m a clinical esthetician, advanced permanent make-up artist and lash extension artist, and I’ve been in business for over 30 years. Ever since childhood, I have loved the beauty industry.

How are you involved with both the community and your customer?

I love blues music and am a member of the Sacramento Blues Society, which helps young musicians in school by raising money at musical events; to help, I volunteer and donate my services. In addition, I’m very close to my clients. Every day at 6:30 a.m., I’m available to them (via email) to answer all of their concerns and questions.

Why is your staff the best in the business?

I have three locations (Folsom, Sacramento and Lincoln) and honestly couldn’t have selected a more wonderful group of men and women to work with. They are warm, caring, knowledgeable, and always wear a smile.

What life accomplishments are you most proud of?

First and foremost, I am proud to have raised a delightful young man who is now on his way to receiving his doctorate in physical therapy; secondly, I’m proud that I have grown professionally with my career choice. It has changed and grown in the past 30 years, and I have grown with it.

Who is your role model in business or in life, and why?

My role models are the women whom I have been fortunate enough to be surrounded by. Their life experiences have given me encouragement and many lessons to follow and avoid.

What’s your favorite place to eat out locally?

Jack’s Urban Eats – so fresh!

If you could meet someone living or dead, who would it be and why?

Audrey Hepburn – I think she was a beautiful, kind and exciting woman.

If you could be any other profession what would it be?

Either a dermatologist or professional dancer.

And finally, customer service is…?

What my business is all about.
