In honor of Cinco de Mayo, Style searched for unique Spanish-infused cocktails, popular margaritas and more – all at local hot spots.

  1. Sweet Jalapeño Martini (vodka, house sweet and sour, sweet lime juice, and freshly sliced jalapeños) at Crush 29 in Roseville,

  2. Negra Modelo at El Pollo de Oro in Granite Bay, 916-791-5858.

  3. Wine Margarita (Los Cabos agave wine; comes in regular or strawberry) at Bernardo’s Mexican Restaurant in Granite Bay, 916-791-2940.

  4. Blue Agave Kiss (strawberry- and pineapple-infused Sauza Blanco tequila, DeKuyper Triple Sec, guava nectar juice, and a splash of Sprite) at Cha-Cha’s in Rocklin,

  5. Borderita Grande Margarita (Sauza Conmemorativo and Gran Gala orange liqueur) at On the Border in Roseville,  

  6. Spicy Jalapeño Margarita (roasted jalapeño with lime, agave nectar, tequila, and a splash of triple sec) at Carmelita’s Restaurant in Roseville,

  7. Chavela (Clamato juice mixed with beer and seasoned with hot sauce and lemon; served in a salt-rimmed mug) at El Azteca Taqueria in Roseville,

  8. Golden Kuma Margarita (Sauza Hornitos tequila, Grand Marnier, sweet and sour, lime juice, triple sec and orange juice) at Mikuni in Roseville,

  9. Jamaican Sunset (Silver Puerto Rican rum, Malibu rum, pineapple juice, grenadine, and sweet and sour; topped with a splash of Bacardi 151) at Mas Cocina Mexicana in Roseville,

  10. Sparkling Pomegranate Margarita (a mix of 100-percent blue agave Patrón Silver tequila, Patrón Citronge orange liqueur, and pomegranate) at Chili’s Grill & Bar Restaurant in Roseville,
