As the warmer days of summer approach, children anticipate fun days at the pool.

Learning the important skills of swimming and water safety can be lifesaving. Unfortunately, many children in our community aren’t able to afford a swimsuit, and the opportunity to take swimming lessons is even less likely. Become a part of Operation Swim and help us change that!

THE GOAL OF OPERATION SWIM IS TWOFOLD

1. To collect donations of new swimsuits and beach towels to give out to children swimming in their clothes.
2. To accept monetary donations to help pay for swim lessons for at least 150 kids. For every $40 collected, a child receives a new swimsuit, beach towel and swimming lessons! The Tommy Apostolos Fund is providing 150 swimsuits for this portion of the program, but we need your help to take care of the rest.

HOW YOU CAN HELP

All donations are accepted – you name the amount. To donate online, visit roseville.ca.us/swim or call 916-774–5242 and tell us you would like to be a part of Operation Swim 2012.

Remember: Swim lessons save lives!
