Time flies when you’re having fun at the Cameron Park Community Services District! General Manager Mary Cahill and the Cameron Park staff are busy working toward an active spring and summer program at the Community and Aquatics Center, as well as at Cameron Park Lake and park locations. Get ready for “Stay and Play in Cameron Park,” the theme of our Summer Activity Guide.

Don’t miss all the new, special events this year, including: “Spring Antique, Craft and Garden Show,” a performance by Capitol Pops Concert Band, “Cameron Park Swap Meet,” “Foothill Cruisers Car Show,” “Summer Spectacular,” “Luau at the Pool,” “Cameron Park Community Campout,” “Pooch Plunge,” “Grill’n & Chill’n Cameron Park BBQ Festival” and much more! For information on event dates, times and locations, visit cameronpark.org/special_events.html.

To kick off summer, join us at the Cameron Park Community Center on Saturday, May 26 for “Welcome to Summer.” This event will feature a free swim day and offer registration for summer camps, swim lessons, classes and numerous special programs. Meet our generous community sponsors as we thank them for improving existing and supporting new programs for the community. Note: Be sure to pick up your pool pass or combination pool/lake pass by May 25 for the 2011 prices.

Park staff is hard at work getting the parks and facilities ready for a great year. Join us for a summer of fun in 2012!
