Describe your business. Did you find it, or did it find you?

We found each other. I truly believe I’m where I’m supposed to be. Having my own salon is like having a second home – I can entertain, cook for my clients, make people look and feel great, and spend time with my friends all day long.    

Why is your staff the best in the business?

Our team is regarded not simply for making women beautiful, but for showing them that they already are. Everyone who works at our salon is trained to recognize and reveal the beauty in everyone willing to believe.

What’s your biggest job perk?

Over the years, I’ve had the pleasure of meeting wonderful women – young and old – who were once clients but who are now friends.

What’s your favorite place to eat out locally?

Emperor’s Garden – it’s close, has consistently wonderful food, and generous portions at a great price. Alice, Kim and Anne always greet you with a smile.

Where do you and your family go locally to have fun?

The Folsom Ice Rink when it’s here in town, and the Folsom Rodeo.

If you could meet someone living or dead, who would it be and why?

Jesus, Mary, and Julia Child. Talking to Jesus about his experiences and hearing his stories firsthand would be mesmerizing, as would be talking to Mary, mom to mom. When I was younger, I would cook in the kitchen and pretend to be Julia Child.  

What’s your favorite local event that you go to?

The Folsom Rodeo!

What’s your favorite local business other than your own?

Pinkberry.

Listening to the clients’ wants and needs and coming up with a realistic, affordable solution to achieve their goals.
