Describe your business. Did you find it, or did it find you?

Aerie Yoga originated from our longtime love of all things athletic and fun. As Pilates and yoga instructors for many years, we immediately gravitated toward this playful style of yoga. Aerial/hammock yoga has been practiced for several years in other cities, and we are excited to bring it to this area as a group format experience.

How are you involved with both the community and your customer?

We are both involved with our churches, in “Run Rocklin” and at local schools. We also support and serve The Gathering Inn each month; as well, our facility is the site of the Placer County Chapter of Medals4Mettle (M4M).

Why is your staff the best in the business?

We are a diverse crew of instructors with experience in dance, gymnastics, trampoline, yoga, Pilates and personal training – all those different disciplines bring a well-rounded experience.

What life accomplishments are you most proud of?

We are proud that we are pursuing our passion with the support of our husbands and, of course, our kids, who love the hammocks more than us!

What’s your favorite local event that you go to?

We love the local farmers’ markets and chatting with the growers about their produce.

Where do you and your family go locally to have fun?

Lake Tahoe. Since Sacramento is so close to Tahoe, a day in the snow or on the lake is always fulfilling.

What’s your favorite local business other than your own?

Primo Pizza for a family dinner – it’s locally owned and we love that they greet us with a hug.

If you could be any other profession what would it be?

Angie is studying to be a therapist, and Kendra would have been a contractor. I guess we love to heal and create!

And finally, customer service is…?

Not treating every client the same. Men and women of all shapes, sizes and ages can play and get a great workout with us on the hammocks.

Do you know that our editorial is not paid for, nor can it be purchased? In fact, our Introducing and Dine reviews are not paid advertisements. If you’d like your business profiled, please email Wendy Sipple at [email protected]. Once we determine when your business will be featured, we will contact you to schedule a time to come out and take a photograph. Thank you!
