Why We Dig It: The Fat’s Family of Restaurants are longstanding area institutions, serving up fresh Asian fusion fare amidst lush, modern décor. Fat’s Asia Bistro provides an upscale atmosphere and contemporary Asian cuisine. Why We Dig It: Located in Historic Folsom in the beautiful Folsom Electric Building, Sutter Street Steakhouse’s magnificently appointed leather booths and fine steakhouse fare is truly a gem in the area. Their much-desired Happy Hour is met with numerous regulars at their 4:30 p.m. opening. Select wines and martinis are $5.50, and all draft beer is just $3.
