Describe your business. Did you find it, or did it find you?

With 16 years of experience, the Lynda Grindstaff Group, LLC, shows clients how to increase their business profits by improving their management and leadership skills. We create clear and actionable strategies with step-by-step action plans that improve performance, revenues and sustainable growth into the future. Our clients have successfully been able to grow their management skills and increase their bottom line through our seminars and personalized one-on-one coaching. The Lynda Grindstaff Group, LLC, is unique in that it was founded based on the passion and personal experience managing and leading technical teams to success.

What was the first job you ever had, and what did you learn from the experience?

My first job was babysitting. I learned patience, flexibility and communication skills; also, I learned very early on that not every person or every situation you encounter is the same.

How are you involved with both the community and your customer?

I am active with both the Folsom and Rancho Cordova Chamber of Commerce. I love attending the chamber networking events and power lunches to meet new business contacts and visit with fellow local business friends each month. Additionally, I am very active as a national leader for the Society of Women Engineers and the National Center for Women in Information Technology; I enjoy teaching seminars to technical females and giving them the tools to improve their interpersonal skills, as well as working on key issues that affect technical women in the workplace.

What’s your favorite place to eat out locally?

Our favorite places are Mikuni Sushi and Visconti’s Ristorante.

Where do you and your family go locally to have fun?

We love riding our bikes on the American River Bike Trail.

What’s your favorite local business other than your own?

Body Concepts Inc.

And finally, customer service is…?

Delivering high quality and timely service that exceeds our customers’ expectations – it results in satisfied and repeat customers.
