Describe your business. Did you find it, or did it find you?

After being part of corporate dentistry for five years, I decided to go out on my own; that’s when I came across Dr. Ted Brush’s dental building called “DENTISTRY.” It was perfectly located in the heart of Folsom on Natoma Street, where a lot of City Hall and other Folsom employees commute.

How are you involved with both the community and your customer?

I keep myself occupied with several volunteer and charity organizations. I am a regular participant in the “Give Kids a Smile” event and often perform charitable dentistry at the office. As a business, I firmly believe that the “customer is king.” I try to understand each and every customer’s perspective in seeking out my assistance and then attempt to cater my recommendations according to their desires. I strive to keep in touch with not only the patient, but also their entire family, which helps me form a better understanding of their situation.

Why is your staff the best in the business?

Because we are warm, caring, compassionate and thorough. We don’t just look at you as another person but as an ally in the field of dentistry. That makes you, the sometimes fearful patient, become very comfortable in what could be an unnerving experience.

What’s your hidden talent?

Breakdancing, but there is a very good reason it’s hidden!

What’s your favorite place to eat out locally?

As a fan of Indian food, I enjoy Ruchi Indian Cuisine or Curry Club Indian Bistro. Lately, I have also been digging the burgers at Smashburger.

Where do you and your family go locally to have fun?

In warm weather, going to John Kemp Park is a daily thing for us.

What’s your favorite childhood memory?

Watching my grandfather at work as the assistant commissioner of police.

And finally, customer service is…?

Everything.
