Describe your business. Did you find it, or did it find you?

The fitness industry generally focuses on a few aspects of getting healthy: nutrition, exercise and motivational coaching. Mama Bootcamp is a combined experience of personal training, nutrition (clean and healthy eating) and life coaching. We use texting, social media and email to have constant contact with our “Mamas” to make sure they are supported and encouraged on their path to a healthier lifestyle and fit body! I feel all of my past experiences led me to Mama Bootcamp.

What was the first job you ever had, and what did you learn from the experience?

I was a lifeguard and taught swim lessons in high school.  I learned I love both coaching people and helping them at the same time!

Why is your staff the best in the business?

My Mama Team is the BEST because they all started as “Mamas!” They all learned how to live a healthy lifestyle by following important guidelines – eating their veggies, drinking water, and turning in their Code Enforcers (class “homework”). I have one coach who lost 60 pounds and over 100 inches in bootcamp! If you have never had any issues, how do you have compassion for the woman in front of you who is “sick and tired” of being “sick and tired?” It’s very empowering to have a coach and trainer who went through the same process as the student.

What’s your biggest job perk?

To be able to work with so many amazing women! I am inspired when I see a woman overcome personal struggles or fear, and really start to make changes in her life. You can see their energy shift; even their face looks different when they get “it.” That is what I call finding your MOJO!

And finally, customer service is…?

Making Mama Bootcamp a place that is safe, encouraging, motivating, fun and passionate; also, going above and beyond expectations to help women live their best lives.
