Describe your business. Did you find it, or did it find you?

My passion and drive for the industry started at a young age, during my battle with cystic acne. After years of suffering, I was introduced to a skin care professional who taught me the importance of healthy, beautiful skin and I was eager to educate others. Since obtaining my aesthetician and massage therapy license, I am able to do what I love and share my passion with others. Not many people can say that they love what they do every day, so I feel blessed! I am dedicated to results-oriented skincare and client education. I have a goal of helping people understand how skin works and how to take the best care of their skin.

How are you involved with both the community and your customer?

I believe it’s important to pay it forward, so besides donating my services to local charities and my son’s annual crab feed, I am proud to be involved with an amazing event called “Day of Caring.” Thirty hair stylists and skin care professionals (including myself) donate all of our services for the day to oncology patients. It is beyond rewarding.

What life accomplishments are you most proud of?

My greatest life accomplishment is my son Ayden. Being a mom is the most rewarding job I have; I learn something new every day, but most importantly, I’ve learned to stop and enjoy our moments together.

What’s your biggest job perk?

I love what I do! I feel blessed every day that I am able to make a difference in people’s lives. Plus, I have the greatest clients ever!

What’s your favorite place to eat out locally?

It’s a tie between Taco Loco (I’m a sucker for chips and salsa) and Back Wine Bar (I’m also a sucker for some good wine).

What’s your favorite local event that you go to?

The Folsom Turkey Trot! My son and I have made this our tradition every Thanksgiving. It’s a great way to lessen the guilt before we gorge ourselves.
