Describe your business. Did you find it, or did it find you?

Viewpoint Optometry is a family-friendly practice and optical boutique, dedicated to providing personal and professional vision care and extraordinary eyewear. A philosopher once said, “Luck is what happens when preparation meets opportunity.” I have always wanted to own a practice in the Roseville area and as luck should have it, this opportunity came up, and now I get to live and work in an incredible community.

What was the first job you ever had, and what did you learn from the experience?

Don’t laugh – I was Chuck E. at Chuck E. Cheese’s. I learned humility, patience, and most importantly how to work with children.

Why is your staff the best in the business?

Our staff is wonderful! They are professional and knowledgeable with over 30 years of combined experience in the field. They remember our patients and their family members by name and they treat everyone like old friends. They sincerely love what they do.

What life accomplishments are you most proud of?

Becoming a doctor, a wife, a mom and a business owner all within a five-year span…and being able to balance my life. Needless to say, I’ve had an incredible support system to help me through it all.

What’s your hidden talent?

I play piano, but it’s a hidden talent because I haven’t owned a piano for the past 13 years.

What’s your favorite place to eat out locally?

Jack’s Urban Eats.

If you could be any other profession what would it have be?

A photographer for National Geographic comes in at a close second.

And finally, customer service is…?

It is sincerely listening to people’s needs, creating a positive experience and providing helpful solutions. For our practice, customer service means giving our patients our undivided care and personal attention. We strive to improve our patient’s quality of life by helping them to achieve their best vision using the latest optical technology. We treat everyone like we would want our family members to be treated. Our patients are the reason we’re here and we’re grateful for all of them.

Do you know that our editorial is not paid for, nor can it be purchased? In fact, our Introducing and Dine reviews are not paid advertisements. Once we determine when your business will be featured, we will contact you to schedule a time to come out and take a photograph. Thank you!
