Describe your business. Did you find it, or did it find you?

I started Will Do Dog Doo because our family was finding that cleaning up the yard from the waste of our two dogs didn’t get done as frequently as it should, which sometimes impacted the enjoyment of our outdoor living space. My husband said he would do it, but for some reason never got around to it. I figured that we were pretty typical, and with all of the dogs and busy working families in Folsom and El Dorado Hills, it seemed like a much-needed service. And now my husband never has to pick up the yard again! We have just added pet sitting, midday let-outs and dog walking at the request of some of our cleanup customers.

How are you involved with both the community and your customer?

I love all of the walking trails and open spaces that our area has to offer. And because I’m on them almost every day walking a client’s dogs or my own, I volunteer for trail maintenance and clean-up projects with the City of Folsom as well as The American River Parkway Foundation.

Why is your staff the best in the business?

All members of my staff have a strong work ethic and high attention to detail, ensuring that “nothing” gets missed.

What’s your biggest job perk?

I love that I get to be outdoors and have interaction with such a wide variety of people and their animal family members.

What’s your favorite local event that you go to?

I like to go to the “It’s a Girl’s Night” events that are held at the Folsom Community Center. It’s great fun to see the wide variety of vendors. Plus, there are many different desserts and wines to sample!

What’s your favorite local business other than your own?

The Pampered Pooch, of course. They do a great job grooming our dogs and have a lot of unique pet gifts.

And finally, customer service is…?

Remembering that if we don’t take good care of our customers, someone else will!
