Thanksgiving dinner may have you seeing double, but there’s no reason to get stuck in a leftover rut.

Spice up your day(s)-after dishes with Style’s top 10 recommendations for the meal that keeps on giving.

  1. Try Alton Brown’s “Bird to the Last Drop” soup, which uses the turkey scraps and two cups of meat. (foodnetwork.com)

  2. Take your taste buds south of the border with turkey and sweet potato-filled empanadas.

  3. Give thanks to the most important meal of the day with a turkey and vegetable omelet.

  4. Transform stale dinner rolls into classic bread pudding.

  5. Enjoy a turkey and spinach salad and get your holiday-enhanced waistline back on track.

  6. Unwind with a festive sangria. Chef Jordan Mackey of Napa’s Cuvée adds Grand Marnier cranberry relish to white wine, spiced rum, spice-infused simple syrup and fresh fruit.

  7. Take baked potatoes from simple to scrumptious by topping with stuffing and a drizzle of gravy.

  8. Create dumplings a-la Chef Anne Coll by filling wonton wrappers with a pinch of everything.

  9. Pack a grilled turkey and cranberry sandwich for lunch and become a break-room standout.

  10. Don’t feel like dealing with leftovers? Send guests home with the spoils and give empty pie tins new life as to-go containers.
