Describe your business. Did you find it, or did it find you?

I was introduced to Premier Designs’ high fashion jewelry at a friend’s home show. I fell in love immediately with the beautiful jewelry, so I had my own home show where I got over $600 in jewelry for free, plus my friends and I had a blast! After several weeks of wearing the jewelry daily, I knew this was something I wanted to be a part of. I have the best job in America: I get to give away beautiful jewelry for free, and I help women build successful home-based businesses.

What was the first job you ever had, and what did you learn from the experience?

During high school, I worked in a gourmet muffin shop in San Francisco called Babycakes. The owners were true entrepreneurs and I learned that if you have a dream and passion...anything is possible.

How are you involved with both the community and your customer?

The vision plan for my business is to enrich lives. I take that very seriously – serving my customers is my number one priority. I love to participate in fundraisers for community organizations and give back 30 percent of the sales to the organization.

Where do you go when the going gets tough?

When the going gets tough, I go to church. My faith gives me a constant reassurance that everything happens for a reason and as long as I put my faith in the Lord, everything I dream is achievable.

What’s your favorite place to eat out locally?

My family and I love to go to Back Forty Texas BBQ. They have great service, friendly staff, exceptionally good food and a fun environment.

And finally, customer service is…?

The key! Serving others and making a difference in their lives is the focus of my business. To serve other women and give them the gift of caring is the most important thing I can do.
