The 2011-2012 Season of Performing Arts at Three Stages at Folsom Lake College is now in full swing! And since this is Three Stages first full season, it’s packed with exciting shows, featuring a lineup of international and regional artists. Taking the stage this next year will be comedian Dana Carvey, Monty Python’s Spamalot, Moscow Festival Ballet and The Color Purple, just to name a few. Three Stages will also highlight local arts organizations with performances by Folsom Lake Community Concert Association, Sacramento Guitar Society, California Theatre Center and more! Three cheers for Windwalker Vineyard in Fair Play, which won top honors at the prestigious 2011 California State Fair Wine Competition. Join us in congratulating PAWED (People for Animal Welfare in El Dorado County) for making its inaugural road trip kicking off the start of its Mobile Spay/Neuter & Disaster Response Clinic. On July 17, the organization spayed/neutered 14 large breed dogs living in the Georgetown Divide area. Missouri Flat Pet Clinic’s Dr. Randy Robinson, along with 13 others, volunteered their time at the clinic from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. For more information and dates, visit pawedpets.org

Imagination Theater in El Dorado County presents Father of the Bride from September 9 through September 25. In addition, auditions for Camelot have been scheduled for September 17 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. All parts are open; those who want to audition must be 17 or older.
