Describe your business. Did you find it, or did it find you?

WinMar Solutions is a South Placer marketing firm specializing in social media. It found me after departing from my last company.

What was the first job you ever had, and what did you learn from the experience?

My first job was at Chic-fil-A in Tampa, Florida. I learned that hard work, dedication and consistency all pay off.

How are you involved with both the community and your customer?

I am a Rocklin Area Chamber of Commerce ambassador, Business Resource Committee member, Government Relations Committee member and in Leadership Rocklin, which helps me stay connected to the local community and businesses.

Why is your staff the best in the business?

We are the best in the business because of our approach to social media marketing, and because we are constantly staying up on the latest trends and best practices.

What life accomplishments are you most proud of?

I am proud of being a U.S. Marine; getting married; and to top it all off, my son Isaiah, who was born in May 2010.

Who is your role model in business or in life, and why?

I have several. Too many people have helped me at some point in my life, so I am thankful for them all.

What’s your biggest job perk?

Getting to do what I love – helping people and learning about the latest in social media.

If you could meet someone living or dead, who would it be and why?

I would want to meet Matthew from the Bible. It is my favorite book and I think we would have a lot in common.

What’s your favorite local event that you go to?

Rocklin Area Chamber of Commerce Breakfast and Mixer.

What’s your favorite local business other than your own?

Kona Coffee Café in Rocklin on Lonetree and Blue Oaks.
