Describe your business.

I’m a chiropractor with 12 years of experience in the practice – adjusting young (6 months) and old (96 years), and treating hands to toes.

What life accomplishments are you most proud of?

The first person in my family to become a doctor; moving to California on my own; marrying the woman of my dreams; and having three beautiful children.

Where do you go when the going gets tough?

I go home to my family and remember what is really important. I also call my older sister and my mom and dad; even today they remind me to not get down in rough times.

What’s your hidden talent?

Finding out a patient’s “real” problem after they have been to several other doctors and have seen no results.

What’s your biggest job perk?

Seeing someone really smile for the first time in years, after previously being told they have to live with a problem.

Where do you and your family go locally to have fun?

Hiking in Auburn off of Highway 49 and going down by the river to watch the kids enjoy nature without the Wii, Cartoon Network, or anything that requires energy (other than our own monitoring).

What’s your favorite childhood memory?

Going every year with my family and usually one friend to the same campground that had trampolines, mini golf and the lake – it was all free and unlimited!

If you could be any other profession what would it be?

A teacher. I love talking to people about their bodies and how things work. It is amazing to see the light come on for someone who has never had a concept fully explained to him or her.
