Describe your business. Did you find it, or did it find you?

Sass is a women’s and children’s boutique specializing in trendy, fun and affordable apparel and accessories. We also offer educational toys and specialty gifts for birthdays and baby showers. Opening Sass has always been a dream of mine, and something I knew I would do one day.

How are you involved with both the community and your customer?

Sass donates educational toys to local schools as well as items for school fundraisers and silent auctions; in addition, we serve as a large sponsor for local children’s athletic groups.

What life accomplishments are you most proud of?

Family – my husband and three beautiful children.

What’s your hidden talent?

I successfully competed in horse shows for more than 25 years.

What’s your biggest job perk?

Getting to see all of next season’s fashions before most people do.

What’s your favorite place to eat out locally?

Papa Gianni’s Ristorante in Cameron Park.

What’s your favorite childhood memory?

Working in my father’s toy store.

And finally, customer service is…?

Everything! My customers’ needs are important and their opinions are valued. It’s important that they have the best possible experience while shopping at Sass.
