Describe your business. Did you find it, or did it find you?

We provide real estate appraisals for the mortgage industry as well as for the general public. People need appraisals for many reasons other than mortgages. The most common reasons include divorce, bankruptcy, and to establish the value of an estate at the time of death of a family member. We also do appraisals to assist homeowners in establishing a marketing price for their home.

What was the first job you ever had, and what did you learn from the experience?

My first job was in a nursery down the street from my home.
I learned the importance of customer service and to go over and above what is expected.
How are you involved with both the community and your customer?
Being a car guy, my favorite charity is the California Automobile Museum. I served on the museum’s board of directors for several years. I also serve as a trustee for my church, Fellowship Church of Granite Bay.

Why is your staff the best in the business?

We have many years of experience in all aspects of the real estate industry and pay close attention to our client’s needs.

What life accomplishments are you most proud of?

Raising three hard working, self-reliant children.

What’s your biggest job perk?

Every day is casual Friday.

If you could meet someone living or dead, who would it be and why?

Henry Kaiser. He had such a varied career – he built roads, dams, ships, cars, and owned a cement, aluminum and steel plant. He also created Kaiser Permanente, which is all that is left of his empire.

Caring about the needs of your customer, being on time, and always doing what you say you will do.
