Describe your business. Did you find it, or did it find you?

I practice estate planning, business law and real estate transactions. My clients mostly come from Folsom and El Dorado Hills. Opening an office in Folsom seemed like a natural choice for me, so that I could work close to my family and help those in our community.

How are you involved with both the community and your customer?

In my practice of the law, I help families and companies resolve disputes. I try to stay away from litigation and instead try to help businesses work with others to solve problems outside of court. In my estate planning process, I work hard to help families in our community have their financial plans in order.

Where do you go when the going gets tough?

I am very active in my church and find great strength from its teachings. When I begin to feel downtrodden, I can go to our place of worship and always feel better.

What’s your favorite place to eat out locally?

No question about it – Pete’s Restaurant and Brewhouse in the El Dorado Hills Town Center.

Where do you and your family go locally to have fun?

Since I have four little kids, we really enjoy spending time outdoors. Our community’s many walking trails and parks are a great source of enjoyment for our family. My personal favorite place to spend an afternoon with our kids is the Skunk Hollow Bridge area near Salmon Falls on the American River.

And finally, customer service is…?

Giving my clients more than they expect. Customer service is doing things right the first time, while genuinely caring about the customer’s family and business. When a professional takes a vested interest in their customer’s long-term situation, then the best service is given.
