Describe your business. Did you find it, or did it find you?

Whitening on Wheels, Sacramento is a mobile teeth-whitening business. I come to your home, office, salon, day spa or gym. I offer the same equipment your dentist uses to whiten your teeth in the office but for much less. I was looking for something that would combine my 15 years as a dental assistant and my five years in direct selling; this business was the perfect blend and allows me to work around my family’s schedule.

What was the first job you ever had, and what did you learn from the experience?

I worked at a specialty card and gift shop where we designed custom wedding and party invitations. I learned that customers need attentive sales people who put their needs first and provide the best quality products.

What life accomplishments are you most proud of?

I am most proud of being a mom to my three amazing kids who teach me on a daily basis that miracles do happen.

What’s your biggest job perk?

Transforming people’s smiles and giving them the added confidence that having whiter teeth can bring.

What’s your favorite place to eat out locally?

My husband and I love the Sutter Street Steakhouse. The service there is impeccable!

If you could meet someone living or dead, who would it be and why?

My grandparents all died before I was born, so I would love to meet them and see where some of our family traits came from.

What’s your favorite local event that you go to?

The Friday night “Concerts in the Park” in El Dorado Hills are a family favorite.

If you could be any other profession, what would it be?

I would have loved to be an OB/GYN and help other families realize their dreams of parenthood.

And finally, customer service is…?

Hopefully making a comeback! It is important, especially in a tough economy, to treat your customers right as they hold the keys to your success.
