Describe your business. Did you find it, or did it find you?

Your Document Professionals is an outsourced document department aimed at small- and medium-sized businesses. We offer our high quality service at a flat monthly rate that is far lower than it would cost to hire even one fulltime writing professional. This business really found us! We have been working as freelance writers for several years, as well as producing board reports and training materials for a major mutual fund company. Your Document Professionals is a natural marriage of our skills, experience and talents.

Why is your staff the best in the business?

We bring 30 years of solid writing experience to the business. Additionally, we carefully screen and evaluate every contract employee that we use; all are U.S. based and experienced business writers. Just as our clients’ reputations are staked on the quality of work we do, our reputation is staked on the quality of the product that we produce.

Who is your role model in business or in life, and why?

Jennifer: My oldest brother, Martin Riley of Strategic Growth Network, has been instrumental in creating YDP’s excellent business model. His 30 years of experience building his own company and helping other businesses succeed have made him an invaluable resource for us.

What’s your biggest job perk?

Flexibility. We set our own hours, so if Jennifer needs to take off in the middle of the day to ride her horse, or Greg just has to check out the new cooking store, we can do it. Of course, that also means working some late nights to make up for it!

What’s your favorite local event that you go to?

Museum Day. We love checking out all the museums we don’t get around to seeing the rest of the year.

And finally, customer service is…?

An often over-looked necessity. We often choose which businesses to patronize based on how good their service is. There is too much competition to put up with bad service!

Do you know that our editorial is not paid for, nor can it be purchased? In fact, our Introducing and Dine reviews are not paid advertisements. If you’d like your business profiled, please email Wendy Sipple at [email protected]. Once we determine when your business will be featured, we will contact you to schedule a time to come out and take a photograph. Thank you!
