Describe your business. Did you find it, or did it find you?

My business is like a fun hobby for me. For many years I enjoyed collecting antiques and unique items. As time went by, I realized that many people have a desire to cling to the past.

How are you involved with both the community and your customer?

The best part of my business is getting to meet the nicest people who have such wonderful stories to share of their families and past.

Why is your staff the best in the business?

Excellent organizational and “people” skills.

What life accomplishments are you most proud of?

My marriage and kids!

Who is your role model in business or in life, and why?

It was my boss at Mercedes Benz, George Grinzewitsch. I truly loved and respected him. He touched me very much!

Where do you go when the going gets tough?

I go to the Lord.

What’s your favorite place to eat out locally?

Boudin Bakery and La Bou.

Where do you and your family go locally to have fun?

We bowl on a league every week in Folsom.

What’s your favorite childhood memory?

Camping and fishing with my father.

If you could meet someone living or dead, who would it be and why?

My father. I lost him at an early age and truly wonder what he would say about my life and me.

What’s your favorite local event that you go to?

Antique fairs, estate sales, yard sales and auctions...of course!

What’s your favorite local business other than your own?

Bandera Restaurant. They have great food and my daughter is one of their managers.

If you could be any other profession what would it be?

Simply a wife and mother to my family…like the old days!

And finally, customer service is…?

Everything! Without happy customers, you have no reason to be in business. Repeat customers speak volumes about your business and service, and Hidden Treasures has that. We consistently hear customer’s say, “We love your store.”
