Describe your business. Did you find it, or did it find you?

I have been a nurse for more than 20 years. I’ve always had a whole-hearted passion for helping people recover from illness, as well as for the elderly who need help with daily activities. Our elderly have contributed so much by raising their children and grandchildren, and I feel they deserve to be cared for in a comfortable environment without being a burden to their families.

Why is your staff the best in the business?

Our amazing staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. They go out of their way to not only make our residents comfortable but also entertain them and make the environment just as warm and enjoyable as their own home. They are knowledgeable, friendly, and treat our clients just like their own parents.

What’s your hidden talent?

I’m a huge ayurvedic and natural health specialist. I can make different kinds of free scrubs, shampoos, moisturizers and treatments from plants and household items with recipes from around the world.

What’s your biggest job perk?

Being able to serve senior residents and learn something new from them every day! They have been through almost an entire lifetime and have so much kindness and wisdom to share.

What’s your favorite place to eat out locally?

Orchid Thai in Lincoln; I have never enjoyed such good Thai food, and I am a Thai lover!

Where do you and your family go locally to have fun?

The Fountains in the summertime; the outdoor environment is very enjoyable for lunch or a walk.
