Describe your business. Did you find it, or did it find you?

I created 2COR9 Energy to help families and business owners save money on energy. Due to the growing public concern over climate change, I have always been attracted to renewable energy and the need to change the future.

What was the first job you ever had, and what did you learn from the experience?

My first job as a young man was at a meatpacking and processing plant. It was here I learned that hard work won’t kill you.

How are you involved with both the community and your customer?

I am involved with the local chamber of commerce, TEDx, Sacramento State, and my church.

Why is your staff the best in the business?

My staff is the best in the business because they are committed, skilled, loyal, faithful, and the best on the planet. I wouldn’t have it any other way.

What life accomplishments are you most proud of?

I am most proud of my family. This is the true test of life. With 100-percent support, anything in life is possible.

Who is your role model in business or in life, and why?

Jack Welsh, for his achievements that so many aim to accomplish; and Jesus, because He is the most inspirational person for all avenues of life.

What’s your biggest job perk?

I get to live my dream by helping others reach theirs, while making a difference. You only get one chance, so make it one you would be proud to reflect upon.

If you could be any other profession, what would it be?

A NBA basketball player.

Paramount.
