Describe your business. Did you find it, or did it find you?

It’s Kids Time is located in El Dorado Hills Town Center. We are not the typical stuffy daycare facility but rather an upbeat, new, contemporary center offering educational services. It’s Kids Time focuses on Pre-K development in the following areas: math, writing, language and social development. We have a wonderful preschool program that is fun and academic driven to get your preschooler ready for kindergarten. It’s Kids Time is equipped with a computer café for kids to have an opportunity for self-paced research or games; an arcade; LCD projector system with 110” screen; classroom; and toddler room. We provide part-time, full-time or drop-in childcare. We are licensed by the State of California to provide childcare to children ages 18 months to 12 years of age.

I would have to say that the business found me. I have three little girls and have had a passion for working with children since the age of 14. I was a babysitter and a swim instructor for many years until I worked for an elementary school and university. Through my past opportunities and experiences, I am able to work for myself and still spend time with my children while working.

How are you involved with both the community and your customer?

I am very involved in my daughter’s school as PTA president at Oak Meadow Elementary and have been busy this year with fundraising for the school. I am a parent volunteer in the kindergarten and third grade classrooms. Also, I’m involved with the local cheer programs, the EDH swim team, and take part with my daughter in the annual Race for the Cure in Sacramento.

And finally, customer service is…?

Customer service is putting the parents and children first, and listening to the needs of their children. Each child is unique and may require us to be aware of any health or medical issues. My goal is to provide a fun, safe and secure center for all children who walk through my door. It’s Kids Time sets the standards for high quality childcare.
