Describe your business.

My firm specializes in business/transactional law matters, including entity formation, mergers, acquisitions, securities and franchise law, and general business counseling.

What was the first job you ever had, and what did you learn from the experience?

My first job was cutting lawns and doing yard cleanup in my neighborhood in St. Charles, Missouri at age 13. The lesson learned was to avoid poison ivy!

How are you involved with both the community and your customer?

In the community, I am a longtime member and past president of the Roseville Rotary Club; member of the Roseville Chamber of Commerce; and have held leadership positions with the Boy Scouts and my church. I like to consider my clients as my friends, and I do everything I can to support my clients’ businesses.

What life accomplishments are you most proud of?

Being married for 30 years (to the same woman!); being a father to three great kids (now young adults); and serving my country for 32 years as a JAGC officer in the U.S. Navy.

What’s your biggest job perk?

Working for a great, caring boss...me!

Where do you and your family go locally to have fun?

We always enjoy an annual outing to Apple Hill in the fall.

If you could meet someone living or dead, who would it be and why?

Mark Twain and Will Rogers, as they both had such down-home, humorous insight into everyday life.

If you could be any other profession what would it be?

A long-haul truck driver.

And finally, customer service is…?

The foundation of any successful business.
