Describe your business. Did you find it, or did it find you?

It found me! I was working in Indonesia and fell in love with the style, culture and people. I purchased a container of furniture without knowing how I was going to sell it. We started as a wholesale business, and due to the demand, we now manufacture our own products and sell a wide selection of home and garden furniture and accessories directly to the public.

What was the first job you ever had, and what did you learn from the experience?

I worked in my father’s medical supply business running errands and helping in the office. I learned the importance of hard work, good work ethics and making your customers the number one priority.

Why is your staff the best in the business?

Our staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. We are a true family business and it shows in our level of service and understanding for our customers’ needs. Every one of our employees knows the importance of going above and beyond by making a purchase from our store a truly pleasurable experience.

What life accomplishments are you most proud of?

Starting a business and watching it grow into the unique and fun place that it is today. I truly enjoy all aspects, from the design and production of the furniture, to the interaction with our customers. It is so rewarding to hear customers say, “We love your store and your furniture.”

Where do you and your family go locally to have fun?

The American River Bike Trail and Folsom Lake.

And finally, customer service is…?

Going above and beyond what is expected by a customer.

Do you know that our editorial is not paid for, nor can it be purchased? In fact, our Introducing and Dine reviews are not paid advertisements.
